Part never arrived

Ordered a part on March 16 2022 and still waiting. Fitness Repair customer service tells me that UPS lost the part so its not their problem. They say I have to deal with UPS even though they entered into business with UPS not me. I can't get my part and they won't refund my money. UPS tells me there is an open investigation and I can't open a claim with them because Fitness repair already opened a claim with them. What do I do to get my money back?

Here is a follow up. June 8th now and I still don't have my part and they still refuse to help me.

They lie on the phone and will not respond to email.

Terrible experience and even worse customer service. DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Although the attendant was helpful and friendly, the parts I needed were on back order and it had been almost a year since I placed the original order. I ended up finding what I needed through the original manufacturer.

Shipped incorrect part and withheld restocking fee on the return

In November 2020, I ordered a cable assembly specific part number, specific length, and specific cable ends as specified by the FRP website part description and image. But, FRP shipped a different part number that had a different length and different cable ends. I called FRP for an RA# and since FRP shipped an incorrect part, I requested reimbursement of the full purchase price return shipping costs. To my amazement, not only did RFP refuse to reimburse for the return shipping costs, FRP withheld a 20% restocking fee from the refund. Avoid disappointment, buy from another company.

I cancelled the order through their online ticket service immediately after ordering But they didnt check their system for three days. They shipped it anyway and will not refund. Horrible customer service and zero accountability. Sure they will respond to the contrary but I had proof, provided it, still nothing. Go somewhere else if you can. Really horrible company.

Made me jump through hoops for $9 part that they shipped incorrectly. After I refused to waste more time trying to verify their mistake, they opted to accept me not doing business with them again over their $9 mistake. They will never get one penny from me again. I run a fitness repair and service shop and had purchased many parts before. They showed their true colors on this deal.

I received a damaged treadmill deck. They placed the blame on FedEx but it is their poor internal packaging. They filed a claim with FedEx which was approved but WILL NOT ship the replacement deck until they are paid from FedEx in 30 days. It has been about 3 weeks from my initial order and after dealing with them I have another 3-4 weeks if I even get the replacement. TERRIBLE customer service. Of course when I ask to speak to a supervisor they can only send me to a voicemail. DO NOT buy from this company. Price for the deck was $20-$30 cheaper than others. NOT worth the headache. If you see a good review I would consider them lucky or its an outright lie!

I ordered $75 worth of treadmill parts and they sent an entire package of incorrect parts. I tried to return them but they have a 30 day refund policy. The parts are still in their individual bags with bar code stickers attached. Very easy to restock. Terrible return policy!

I ordered a part for my elliptical machine. The part arrived damaged. The service and support team refused to help. I spoke with two representatives. They stated they could send out a return label, then send me a replacement part 30 days after they receive the return. This is unacceptable timing, and they were unwilling to compensate for the damaged part or for the significant delay in providing me what I had originally ordered, which was a functioning part. This is complete dissatisfaction with their problem resolution. I even offered feedback, a 39 cent piece of Styrofoam would have prevented the damage, but they did not even care.

Unconscionable return policy

Avoid at all costs. I was sent the wrong part, an AC adapter for my exercise bicycle. The company is charging a 50% restocking fee, plus I have to pay shipping to get my refund. Not to mention their original price included shipping which amounted to over 30% of the cost of the purchase. Their website doesn't list specific details of their power adapters, such as voltage or amperage. I think they're purposely vague so that they have wiggle room when they send you the wrong part. At the very best, they're incompetent and greedy. At worst, I feel like they're purposely scamming people. Neither of which is a good way to run a company.

SCAM Website!!!

used their site to find exact part for make and model I needed. They sent a completely different part. Would not accept a return without charging me a 20% re-stocking fee...for the obviously wrong part..it wasn't even close! Had to submit several pics of the part, equipment, serial number etc. They clearly showed that the part they sent wasn't the one from their website...didn't matter. The "investigating team" drags you along, email after email, about needing additional info and pics etc all the while stating they can not waive the restocking fee. I call Visa and did a chargeback. Visa withdrew from their account 100% of my money, then charged them a chargeback fee.

Provided incorrect part, then demanded photos of treadmill serial number, comparative pictures of original part plus part received from Fitnessrepairparts. Multiple times told they couldn't see pictures provided, of the serial number provided was incorrect (yet I verified it with the manufacturer). After jumping through hoops to prove I was provided incorrect parts, they asked for 3 business days to investigate. On the fourth, I asked for update and was told to send back the product at my expense, and would be required to pay restocking fees. Also, the parts provided, were clearly poorly made Chinese items, and not original parts. This place is a total scam. STAY AWAY

Ordered a treadmill motor. The motor arrived and was professionally installed. The noise issue persisted, so we went on to replace all of the internal electronics (from a different company). After everything was replaced, we realized the new motor was defective. Fitness Repair Parts refused to exchange it because it was after 15 days. I explained the issue, we had no idea it was defective until we replaced the other parts. Their excuse was their "system" does not allow any return after 15 days. I asked for a little common sense because of my situation and they were very rude. Another excuse was most other parts companies don't allow returns at all. I stated this had nothing to do with this issue and again, they were very rude. Avoid this company.

FIRST REVIEW IVE EVER GIVING BECAUSE THEY WERE SOOOOOOOO BAD. Please Use Sportsmith.com or anybody else they better website, faster shipping and better customer service! My expierence with fitnessrepairparts.com is I own a Life Fitness Treadmill and wanted to order a cable to connect a TV to my console, easy right??? NO I went online typed in the model number researched the cable and there were 3 options. Not exactly sure I called and spoke with tech support they said it was the RS232 cable (weird it just happened to be the most expensive cable of the 3 $180 compared to $20) I looked it up picture looked right I trusted them paid the outrageous price plus don't get me started on shipping I could have paid to ship a small car across country. I recieved the part 11 days later and it was wrong go figure! AND IT DIDN'T MATCH THEIR PICTURE ON THEIR WEBSITE I called them spoke with tech support they said "pictures are generic it would take too long to update each part you get the idea with what we picture " then preceded to say "I don't know what you need? But that's the only cable we have in stock" hence why they pressured me in to buying it, I went to return it and they want $36 restock fee so with shipping to me and return shipping I'm out nearly $60 for their mistake. I called around and found sportsmith, they were nice honest and ship fast not to mention their pricing is very competitive! They looked up the cable with the same model numbers I have these scam artist and wall la they had it I stock for $17 and shipped in 3 days. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO FITNESSREPAIRPARTS FOR ANYTHING EVER AGAIN AND UNLESS YOU WANT SCREWED I SUGGEST YOU DONT EVER EITHER. -if you disput the charge with your CC they try and charge you $25, that speakers volume for this company! Tells me I am not their first victim but hopefully I'll be their last!-

Re: fitnessrepairparts.com: We ordered a $357 replacement control panel for our treadmill (Bowflex- and fitnessrepairparts.com is where Bowflex directed us), and after 5 uses it is giving us an error message and the machine will not work. Because we are past our ridiculously short 15 day electronic parts warranty, they will do nothing for us. I would never order from this company again, and urge you not to do so. I have never submitted a review to complain about a company before, but if they cannot stand by their $357 part for more than 5 uses, this is not a company to give you money to. Do not waste your money with this company.
